About Desvix
From an Idea to a Living Platform
Desvix began with a simple but ambitious question:
What if architecture could be experienced before it exists?
Founded in 2021 by Michal Šourek, the company set out to bring immersive technologies into the core of architectural and real estate workflows. Not as a spectacle, but as a practical tool for design and decision-making.
From the beginning, the goal was clear: move beyond traditional tools and help architects truly understand space — in scale and in context.
The Early Years: Wearrecho
In 2022, the first foundations of the platform were laid under the name Wearrecho. The concept focused on merging virtual reality with architectural design. Instead of interpreting drawings, professionals could explore projects spatially.
At the same time, co-founders Jakub Mazur and Radka Sobotníková helped shape the direction of the project. Jakub defined the concept of a live, collaborative, interactive scene. Radka ensured the administrative backbone of the growing company.
By 2023, Wearrecho launched its first closed alpha version centered on architectural design in VR. Early adopters included progressive architecture studios and leading academic institutions such as ČVUT in Prague and Delft University of Technology. They recognized the research and educational potential of immersive design environments.
During this period, the company actively engaged with the global VR and XR ecosystem. It participated in international conferences, expos, and panels. Step by step, it began shaping its position as a thoughtful voice in the future of spatial design.
Growth and Adoption
The year 2024 marked a significant step forward. Wearrecho released a publicly downloadable desktop beta version. Immersive design tools became accessible to a much broader audience.
This shift led to adoption by major architectural studios and real estate developers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. They began integrating immersive workflows into real projects.
During this phase, Martin Jandera joined the team as platform specialist and key account manager. He strengthened the connection between the platform and its professional users.
A New Identity: DESVIX
In 2025, the platform evolved — and so did its name.
Wearrecho became DESVIX. The new brand reflects a broader and more ambitious vision: a global platform for design, collaboration, and spatial experience that extends far beyond VR alone.
With this transformation, DESVIX formally defined its three core pillars:
- Design
Immersive tools that bring architectural creativity into digital and virtual space. - Vision
A shared, collaborative environment where projects can be reviewed, refined, and understood together. - Experience
Powerful presentation capabilities that allow clients and stakeholders to step inside architecture before it is built.
Today
Today, DESVIX is built as a live scene — a place where architecture is not only shown, but explored, discussed, and understood in real time.
It is a platform shaped by architects, for architects and developers, grounded in real workflows and focused on clarity, collaboration, and meaning — not noise.
