Until now, the DESVIX Platform primarily helped you access your projects and account. It worked—but it did not yet feel like the true starting point for everything around them.
That has changed.
The redesigned Platform introduces a new Home page that brings projects, guidance, product updates, and the wider DESVIX community together. Instead of arriving at an almost empty screen, you now enter through a place that helps you understand where to go next.
The result is more than a visual refresh. DESVIX now feels connected from the moment you open it.
A better place to start
New users and returning users arrive with different needs. One needs orientation; the other wants to continue quickly.
The new Home page supports both. A simple welcome experience introduces the essential paths through DESVIX: create a project, explore an existing one, or open something that has been shared with you. Example projects and tutorials make it easier to understand the possibilities before starting something of your own.
For returning users, Recently Opened keep frequently used projects close at hand, while Personal projects, Workspace projects, and projects shared with you remain clearly organized.
Everything around your projects, connected
Projects remain at the center of DESVIX, but they no longer sit in isolation.
The Platform now provides direct paths to tutorials, product updates, articles, and ways to connect with us. Whether you need help with the next step or want to see where DESVIX is heading, useful information is now part of the same experience.
The Platform is available both on the web and as a desktop application. People creating and editing projects can move into the full DESVIX Editor, while clients and other stakeholders can access the Platform and shared project information through the web. It also creates the foundation for experiences such as Splat scenes to become available directly inside the Platform.
Licenses, made clearer
License management has been redesigned too. Individual and Workspace licenses are now clearly separated, making it easier to compare them, see what is available or assigned, and manage both through one consistent flow.
And soon - One project, ready for different moments
We are also working on a redesigned Project page that will give every project a richer place of its own. Alongside a project description, it will bring 360° panoramas and additional ways to experience the same project directly into one place. We will keep one of those experiences under wraps for a little longer.
The direction is simple: a Project page should not only show information about a project. It should become the starting point for how that project is opened, explored, and shared.
The home around every DESVIX project
Much of what makes software pleasant to use happens between its headline features. It is knowing where to begin, finding what matters quickly, and feeling that every part belongs to the same product.
With this redesign, the DESVIX Platform has taken that role. It is no longer simply a place you pass through on the way to a project. It is the home around every project—and the connection between the people, tools, and knowledge that help move it forward.
Everything starts here.
